"Invest in your Country" Project

The European Association for a Better Life, as partnership leader, together with Fagaras City Hall (partner no. 1), Resource Center for Education and Vocational Training Foundation – CREFOP (partner no. 2)  and CIT – Technology Information Center (partner no. 3) announces the launch of project “Invest in your Country!”, a project which is co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014 – 2020. The project is part of the 1 – Diaspora Start-Up Component, Priority Axis no. 3 – Jobs for All, Specific Objective 3.7 – Increasing Employment by supporting non-agricultural enterprises in the urban area. The amount of the grant is 12.000.179,66 RON and the duration of the project implementation is 36 months, during the period: 23.09.2017-22.09.2020.

Business ACASA Project

The overall objective of the project is to support non-agricultural entrepreneurship in urban areas in less developed regions of Romania, especially in the North-East by increasing managerial and entrepreneurial skills for a number of 335 people to be selected through events information carried out in the project both in the country and abroad. The project contributes to the promotion of entrepreneurial culture and optimizes the skills of the Target Group members to realistically identify and apply business ideas, generating long-term positive effects, concretely through professional training measures in the field of entrepreneurship for 335 individuals, members of the Target Group (unemployed, inactive persons, including students, people who have a job and want to start a business to create new jobs), who cumulatively fulfill the following conditions:

  • intends to set up a non-agricultural business in the urban area;
  • have their residence or domicile in the rural or urban areas of the less developed regions of Romania, predominantly North-East;
  • prove that they resided abroad during the last 12 months until the time of enrollment in the Target Group;
  • are at least 18 years of age and have Romanian citizenship.

OS1. Developing entrepreneurial skills by providing training services for a total of 335 people.

OS2. Establishment and development of 40 START-UP companies and the creation of at least 80 new jobs.

OS3. Ensuring sustainability for a total of 40 START-UP enterprises.
